Summer time and MosQUITOES!!!

Late July we had a few hot days, no breeze and lots of skeeters. But only a few, the Aug. days are back to cool breezes and very warm sunny days. It's the best summer weather I have ever had, compared to Lake Havasu and L.V.. We've had our 12 yr. old grandson for the last 10 days, and so excited to share "our Baja". One big fishing day with the guys, Mike and Skippy and Chino. Tyler got seasick from the pill that was suppose to prevent it and the seals kept eating his catches. But we had plenty of fish for Skip to have a fish fry with papas-very yummy. They saw 50 dolphins, whale and perfect waters. Bocci ball on FRi. and ? (forgot the other day) on the beach, ya never know who will show up. Dave and Juanita, Richard one day with his new adopted dog,LBD (for little brown dog) kinda like a winnie dog but plumper. Kerry and Mike from up n. Baja. Botony Bob played one day and he's been seen out on the waves surfing his little heart out, and that water is cold! Pam was out to, doing pretty good with her healing broken leg. The long sunny days have been filled with lots of 4 wheeling on dunes and the beach, bird watching, good clamming, so so surf fishing, good eats, HBO, swap meeting shoping and today (T's last day) are happy hour pina coladas all around (one Virgin) on the patio, if the flys will let us, they have been horrible. We miss mama Cruz , and Laura and family are doing well, the sopalote mojado still make the best a.m. burritos. And the little green brick with white lines house that the rangers bought across from J. and D.'s house is now a pretty bright gold with red trim. Kay and Joe are full time residents, retired. They have built these cool white cover over thier stuff, Gotta get more info what it is exactly but it looks neat. I am working on my digital so I can start with pictures already. We 86ed the roosters, so the hens are laying better, eggs that is. And strangely enough at dawn you can hear the cock a doodle that sound a lot like David crowing like a rooster.
