I'm back

We're back from a family visit in Colo., so Mike's daughter's boyfriend was able to ask him for permission to marry his little girl. Of course it was yes with no returns or guarentees. So it's great being back home. Some highlights you have missed: Estabon, the owner of bar and rest. invited the residents to a patio Mexican buffet, it was the best food yet out of thier kitchen, and a beautiful day. July 4 was a little different , we had langostino's with steak with our China Post 1 VFW boys, the kitchen cooked and served it with the norm beans and rice. Thanks to Russ and Elsa that organized it, and Harlan our chapter's chaplain blessed all and our boys at war. Then there was David's mole (molay) hot dogs (he wins for originality! j)ohn (sp.61) grilled hot dogs and burgers one night. Take out at Lolas (chicken) again. MMMMMM. Juanita has more walking followers, 61's Sandy got her pedomider, the black dog walk has been longer, and DIK has always walked every morning to the beach and always gets his breakfast burrito at Wet Buzzard, whitch is still delicious and one dollar. Pam is back looking great with just a little gimp in her giddy up as they say. Her hubby,Bob, does his beach run\walk continues and he got a bonus. Juanita spring cleaned and tossed out lots of books and misc. (she is painting her wall of book cases.) happy hour got dibs, well Bob got the cookbooks and said,"these will keep me busy the rest of my life, there is so much to learn" that is so cool , he should have been a chef . As for the ladies we have witnessed sightings of Edie and Denise in very pretty dresses. Then we had the worst holiday campers with all the trimmings, loud, rude, obnoxious, huge motor homeswith more atv's that I could count and children of all ages ", ", and " . It was awful and we all have kids and grandkids and our own atv's and accept the normal noise and kids having fun, but this bunch was everything one would say to our own of what not to be like. (if that makes any sence). Los Globos (swap meet) is still alive and fun as me and Denise (Harlan let her go with me again) went Sat.. I'm still buying up old Uggs for the coming winter, they are perfect for here. Denise is always looking for stuff for her students and classroom and sports. Juanita has been a little under the weather, tooth ache and such. Lastly Paul's dog, dog(yip that's his name) and our big boy Charlie got mange. Goes to show it can happen to the best of families. It's awful but 2-3 shots, some stuff to wash with, and creme that smells horrible and they are getting better-who knew? Weather - cloudy in morning, sunny aft., breezy, and wonderful cool nights. OK LATER THE
