Harlan plays Captain NEMO
"Don`t need no stinkin boat to go fishing" says resident Harlan. This is a photo of his old Dodge pickup, at least part of the bed sticking up in the bay. Got caught in the high tide yesterday. Commodore Bob's bronco also went underwater in the recovery attempt but it was hauled out last night. Edee`s blazer also took a swim in the late night recovery attempt but was towed out by Hermano Mike with his VW van. A few of us loaded up lounge chairs, cameras, wine and cheese and headed out to view the recovery attempts last night but turned back due to too much water on the road. Harlan finally got his truck out this afternoon.

May you could have used Randy's winch..it worked on the water truck!! But then Dik's lake wasn't as big as the bay! See you next month....Marty
