Brother Mike’s house is ready for move in. Cost to date $25000 dlls. He and Marivic are on a European tour, returning 25 July.
Mayor Steve is living in Snyders other trailer. He is in a wheelchair. Made a few happy hours.
Rogelio is expecting the DC3 to fly this week after a carne asada and priest blessing.
Penny (A16) spent fathers day with her truck stuck on the beach. Chino pulled her out by happy hour.
Over a dozen of us went to the Sandpiper, our new favorite burger place in Colonia Guerrero, for Fathers Day lunch.
Laura still has no beer license. BYOB. Possibly will serve wine soon.
Skip and Denise have the RV portion of Gypsys. Skip is here, Denise is working in Wyoming
Cowboy John is no longer renting Laura’s house in Santa Maria for $300. Gene moved in to “help” him with the rent, then Gene and Laura got back together, so Cowboy moves to Cielito Lindo room 12 today. He was going to buy Dan’s lot & trailer before he got Laura’s house. Who knows??
Delta Dik has been under the weather all week with bronchitis.
JJ’s son Jeffrie is with us for the summer.
Bajabird Steve stopped in for a quick visit Saturday.
Bill (A23) has built a 9000gal. water pila. Should have plenty of water for his palm trees and landscaping.
Cielito Lindo no longer has a second Happy Hour.
Johnny Mañana is training his new German wire haired pointer pup “X61” to hunt quail here.
Julio Mesa is having his big prizes San Quintin fishing derby 23 July. $50dll entry fee.
El Rosario is having a big founding celebration 22 to 24 July, foods etc
We are losing our “June gloom”, now seeing more sun but still having lots of wind. We are expecting great weather this week.
